Bowmun Park Welsh stud is situated in Tully North Queensland along the Great Green Way.  We are a family owned and operated stud specialising in both breeding and training the beautiful Welsh A and Welsh B Pony.

Breeding Quality Childrens Ponies of exceptional type and temperament suitable for all equestrian disciplines.

Our aim is to breed ponies with athletic and refined qualities of a riding horse which exhibits the pony type.  The type includes a small head, large and lively eyes with little ears, a clean throatlatch, a long well set neck and exhibiting rhythmic, spacious and elastic paces with distinct impulsion from the hindquarters.  The pony's disposition should be unpretentious and benign with a willingness to perform, showing courage and evenness of temperament.
